We invite you to “La Puntada Invisible: Detrás de la industria” (“The Invisible Stitch: Behind the Industry”), Lecture Series II, part of the 11th Conference on Advertising Film Production and Post-Production in Valencia, organized by the APCP (Association of Advertising Film Production and Post-Production Companies) at LABA Valencia. 

Program

4:00 PM – Welcome
Adriana Piquet, General Director of the APCP, and Andrea Contino, Director of LABA Valencia.

4:10 PM – From spark to screen: how to build an idea that lasts
Alba Barneda, managing partner at CANADA, one of the leading production companies in Spanish audiovisual, will share with LABA Valencia students the creative and production keys behind “La causa del accidente que provocó el incendio”, directed by Lope Serrano for ICEX.
CANADA  is the production company behind projects with artists such as Rosalía, and its work has helped take Spanish talent to the international stage. This piece alone has won more than 30 awards, including the Yellow Pencil and the Graphite Pencil at D&AD, and Best Production of 2025 at the APCP Awards.

5:00 PM – Stories that travel: change the clock, not the truth
From the five-second spot to the novel, with special attention to short films and the leap from short to feature. In collaboration with HARRY. Presented by Yolanda Centeno, Director and screenwriter at HARRY.

Os invitamos a «La Puntada Invisible: Detrás de la industria», Ciclo de ponencias II, dentro de las XI Jornadas de Producción y Postproducción de Cine Publicitario en Valencia, organizadas por la APCP (Asociación de Productoras y Postproductoras de Cine Publicitario) en LABA Valencia.

16:10 h – De la chispa a la pantalla: cómo se construye una idea que trasciende
Alba Barneda, managing partner de CANADA, una de las productoras de referencia del audiovisual español, compartirá con los estudiantes de LABA Valencia las claves creativas y de producción de La causa del accidente que provocó el incendio, dirigida por Lope Serrano para ICEX.

CANADA es la productora detrás de proyectos con artistas como Rosalía, y su trabajo ha contribuido a llevar el talento español al escenario internacional. Solo esta pieza ha logrado más de 30 premios, entre ellos el Yellow Pencil y el Graphite Pencil en D&AD, y Mejor Producción de 2025 en los Premios APCP.

17:00 h – Historias que viajan: cambia el reloj, no la verdad
Del spot de cinco segundos a la novela, con especial atención al cortometraje y al salto del corto al largo. Con la colaboración de HARRY. Presenta Yolanda Centeno, Directora y guionista de HARRY.
