LABA Valencia. School of Art, Design & New Media is the first international campus of the prestigious Italian university of art and design LABA – Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, an institution with more than 25 years of history and over 2,500 students enrolled each year.

Located in the centre of Valencia, LABA Valencia has a strong international vocation, with 70% of its students coming from different countries around the world, and a close connection to the contemporary creative industries. The school focuses on the intersection of art, design, technology and new media, combining professional development and personal expression within a contemporary education centred on visual culture, experimentation and constant innovation.

With a practical and multidisciplinary methodology, LABA trains students in areas such as graphic design and digital media, photography and video, fashion, animation, music and multimedia creation for live shows. Through projects, collaborations with companies and close tutorial support, students develop their own creative voice while acquiring the tools needed to enter the international landscape of the creative industries.

3rd edition of the MICME Festival of Interactive Art. June 2026 ►

The 3rd edition of the MICME. Festival of Interactive Art brought together audiences, artists and professionals at LABA VALENCIA and CC Nave 3 at Parc Central.

The festival was the culmination of months of research, experimentation and artistic production by the students of MICME. International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows. For many of them, these installations represented their first large-scale interactive artworks. Judging by the quality of the projects, they are also the beginning of exciting creative journeys ahead.

During the BAH at LABA VALENCIA, our students undertake internships at advertising agencies, creative studios and technology companies.

Internships are a key step towards entering the professional world. As a LABA Valencia student, during your final year of studies you can undertake an internship lasting between 3 and 6 months, choosing from a wide range of companies within the sector. You also have the option, if you wish, to focus your internship during a fourth year.

International Master’s Degree in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows.

Sign up for the International Master’s Degree in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows. An immersion in the latest technologies and trends in the contemporary scene. Throughout the master’s degree, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to design and build the key elements of the play: video scenes and video mapping, sensors, interactivity, sound art, light art, and more.

The master’s degree culminates with the MICME. Interactive Art Festival, whose second edition took place at LABA VALENCIA and BOMBAS GENS in June 2025, with installations and events around interactive art created by students under the guidance of the teaching team: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art.

The Master of Arts in Photography aims to explore contemporary practices, with focus on fashion and editorial.

The Master allows students to learn about trends in fashion, culture, editorial, photojournalism and art by working in collaboration with globally prestigious publishers and agencies: SCHÖN! Magazine, the European reference magazine; prestigious photographers and agencies, art directors and curators.
