LABA Valencia. School of Art Design and New Media, is the first headquarters opened in Spain by the prestigious Italian University of Art and Design LABA, Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, with more than 20 years of history and 2,500 students enrolled each year. Furthermore, LABA offers an International Master in Multimedia Creation for Performing Arts and Live Shows, which will take place in Valencia, Barcelona and Florence, in collaboration with Èpica Foundation La Fura dels Baus and LABA Florencia.

International Master in Multimedia Creation for Performing Arts and Live Shows
The International Master in Multimedia Creation for Performing Arts and Live Shows is done in collaboration with Epica Foundation La Fura dels Baus and LABA Italy. It will begin in January 2022 and end in December 2022, articulated around four phases, throughout which students will learn to conceive, build and interact with the main elements of the scene. They will carry out a complete and demanding immersion in the development of a play under the direction of Pep Gatell, artistic director of La Fura dels Baus and Cristina Casanova, director of the master’s degree and with the help of all the teaching staff, to create a show that will be performed live in Valencia and Italy.
in Project Creation and Professionalization in Art
Theoretical-practical master’s degree designed for artists, designers or independent professionals of the creative industries, who want to train and specialize through the realization of their own project, a project that allows them to develop as a professional artist, curator, critic, director of galleries of art, mediator or art manager.
The professionals of the master’s teaching staff offer a unique opportunity to get in touch with a wide range of companies, museums and institutions in the sector, as well as access to renowned artists, designers, gallery owners, art directors, etc.

COURSES AND WORKSHOPS
As a complement to regular training, LABA Valencia offers specialized training, through short courses, of between 9 and 25 hours each.
Brandmovies, a workshop led by Nacho Sánchez, director and editor of LaQuadraTV, in which we will analyze the creation of a BRANDMOVIE from its conceptualization to its execution; Interactive Installations and Experiences, directed by Pablo Álvarez and Javier Mujica, co-directors of the Vitamin Arte studio, in which an interactive project will be developed from start to finish that can be presented to a final client; Art direction for Motion Graphics, where Jose Manuel Blay teaches us to carry out art direction in the creation of a motion graphics piece, following the methodology followed in large international film and advertising studios when presenting an idea; Still Life Photography, a course in which Álvaro Peñaltaphotographer and Art Director, takes us into the process of producing a photograph from the reception of a briefing, its analysis, the elaboration of a counterbriefing giving importance to the creative concept , storytelling, mood boards of references, set design, choice of color palettes and image finishing references (post-production).
