Grupo instrumental Valencia concert, conducted by Joan Cerveró, with visuals by LABA Valencia students
Brian Eno · Ambient 1: Music for Airports
The Grup Instrumental de València presents an immersive concert dedicated to Brian Eno and the universe of ambient music. Works by Eno, Harold Budd, John Cage, and Aphex Twin enter into dialogue with visuals created by the team and students of LABA Valencia.
Live music and contemporary imagery come together to create an experience of contemplation and expanded listening.
The Grup Instrumental de València, a benchmark of contemporary music in Spain, was founded in 1991 and has been directed by Joan Cerveró since 1994. With more than thirty years of trajectory, it has performed essential works of the contemporary repertoire and regularly takes part in national and international festivals. For many years, it was the resident ensemble of the ENSEMS International Festival of Contemporary Music.
This year, we are collaborating with its conductor, Joan Cerveró, on a concert featuring five pieces with visuals created by the LABA Valencia team and students.
