During the first term of the Master of Arts in Photography programme at LABA Valencia, students were organised into teams led by teachers Carlos de la Reina and Ismaël Chappaz. The objective of the project was to develop an editorial photography project exploring the idea of community in the context of La Ruta del Bakalao, a phenomenon of Valencian counterculture.

The project integrated ethnographic research, outdoor documentary photography and artistic creation in the studio, resulting in visual portfolios ready for publication. In addition to delivering graphic materials, the teams gave a public presentation and wrote an individual reflective report on their process.

This module has been an intensive experience in collective creation, art direction, visual narrative and cultural analysis.
