Here you have a summary of the main topics that you must consider if you would like to study at LABA Valencia as an international student.

You should know that studying at LABA Valencia means that you will get to enjoy the best time of your life while enriching your creative spirit and preparing for your future career.

You will live in one of the most exciting European cities, considered by Time Magazine as the best city in the world to live in. Valencia was recently named the World Design Capital 2022. Many students choose Valencia for its Mediterranean climate and its incredible leisure, culture and mountain and sea sports.

You will study in an international school that is based on Made in Italy, exporting Italian design, creativity and style around the world.

You will learn Spanish, a language spoken by almost 567 million people worldwide.

And you will receive an internationally recognized qualification, a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from prestigious British universities.

About the qualifications

At the end of your degree, you will have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from prestigious British universities, a recognized and prestigious qualification that is valued throughout the world. 

Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree allows you to enroll in any Master’s degree.  

At the end of the second year, you will receive the British title of HND-Higher National Diploma, which gives you access to the last years of more than 300 universities worldwide.

Studying at LABA Valencia allows you to plan your university career in the most international way, studying one or two years in Spain and then studying the rest of your degree in a different country.

Academic calendar. Classes, exams, and activities

Classes start on 27 September 2021 and finish at the end of Juny.
The academic year is divided into two semesters, and each semester ends with an exam session.

1st semester: 27 September 2021 – 14 January 2022
Exam session: 20 January 2022 – 18 February 2022

2nd semester: February 28th
Exam session: 6 June 2022 – 30 June 2022.

Intensive Spanish and/or English language courses are offered during the last two weeks of September, from the 13th to the 25th. These courses last 2 hours each day and are free of charge for our students.

*These dates are valid for the BACHELOR OF ARTS (HONS) and subject to change. The final timetable will be published in April 2021. 

Master’s degree: The distribution and timing of the Master’s activities are indicated in the specific program.

About the language of instruction

Classes are taught in English or Spanish, depending on the composition of the class group.
There are no language-specific entry requirements, but LABA advises students to have a minimum English B1 level. If you do not hold this qualification, LABA Valencia offers intensive courses in English and Spanish free of charge, during September and throughout the academic year.

In all classes, thanks to Waverly LAB‘s latest real-time translation technology, you can seamlessly listen to classes in over 20 languages.

About accommodation

The cost of accommodation in Valencia is very affordable. It may vary depending on the area and the type of accommodation selected: from 300/350 euros per month for a single room in a shared apartment in one of the trendy and fashionable neighbourhoods of the city; to 700/1000 euros for a studio or a single room, with services included, or in one of the city’s student housing.

Our international department will help you find and choose the best option for you, selecting and proposing alternatives in line with your expectations and needs. We will help you complete the process of booking your accommodation.

Required documentation and matriculation process

Depending on whether you are a citizen of the European Community or not, the documentation required to study at LABA Valencia, as well as the registration process, may be different.
