In the last quarter, in the Photographic Situations module, master’s students developed a complex project called Time Capsule, a visual time capsule created by all the students, through which they reflected on society in 2025.

The module integrated theoretical analysis, visual curation, and artistic creation. During the different phases, students identified current social issues, searching for and analyzing images related to them, applying strategies such as appropriation and re-signification. Each student created a photographic series representing the present through photographic still lifes. The project included a final exhibition and publication proposal, considering the audience, context, and contemporary media. This exercise links semiotic analysis, photographic creation, and curation to explore which images define our time.
