On June 5 we celebrate World Environment Day with the Master's students.

Next June 5 at 12:30 hours, the artists of the International Master in Multimedia Creation for the Spectacle of LABA Valencia School of Art Design and New Media, inaugurate Nave 3 of the Parc Central, with three interactive installations in tribute to water.
This is an artistic proposal promoted by the Councils of Integral Water Cycle and Citizen Participation, part of Valencia City Hall. On the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day on June 5, the master’s degree students of LABA Valencia School of Art Design and New Media were invited to focus their gaze on such a precious resource as water is, and to propose immersive installations seeking in new media and new languages. These aim for the public to be the protagonist in interactive events, in sound creation, in ritual, through their gaze and their touch.
Premiering this 5th of June, this is a great opportunity both for the students and for the public to be enriched by a cutting-edge and experimental training offer in the performing arts sector.
The set up of the pieces will be structured combining three spaces to visit and enjoy:

A piece that reflects on the proportion of water in our skin. An interactive audiovisual installation where image, movement and sound give life to a body of bodies, a river of skin that dialogues with the space and its visitors.

The language of water
Alba Redondo Pairet
A sound and interactive proposal based on a ritual, a ceremony celebrating and placing water and life at the center. A silent and calm space, that awakens progressively from the contact of the bodies with the water.

Pixel Water
Paola Sanchez Salzman
A piece that poses a dystopian world, in which water in its pure state can only be digitally recreated. The remembrance of how it was in its original state, its sound and its behavior, leaving a vestige of our past generations, in a present/future turned into a pixel.
