“My final project is mainly connected to my Icelandic roots and my very personal bond with nature and music. I wanted to create a psychological world where the music takes you on a journey through different spaces, with my own song directly connected to the film. It’s a very experimental three-minute short film and music video, featuring my original song and sound design..

When I started at LABA Valencia, I never imagined I’d be where I am now. I’ve grown creatively and I know myself better, and now I have a clear idea of what I want to do in my career as a designer.

Where I’ve grown the most is in 3D animation, which I enjoy much more now. Before, I only had a little experience in web design, and now I can express myself well in areas where I didn’t feel confident before.

The international environment has been one of the most important parts of LABA Valencia. Meeting people from completely different places, with different points of view and experiences, and sharing ideas with them creates something really inspiring.

I already had experience in graphic and web design, but here I can see how everything connects. Design is a very broad field, and it’s important to have several approaches to work from, since many people who love art want to go in different directions. That’s exactly what the digital design course focuses on.”
