Workshop by ONIONLAB, a studio specialising in immersive installations
This week, students on the MICME – International Master’s in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows will enjoy a series of intensive workshops with important guests from the world of live performance and cutting-edge technologies.
On Monday and Tuesday we will start with the ONIONLAB workshop. Jordi Pont and Jordi Esteban will set up the installation through which they will explain in detail to the students the software they have developed to create 360º videomapping with Touchdesigner.
Jordi Pont is the artistic director of ONIONLAB, which for 15 years has been at the forefront of the creation of audiovisual installations and immersive experiences. Specialising in 3D mapping, VR and AR, they create installations and works for museums, festivals, creative centres, brands and music events. Their clients include the Prado Museum, the Signal Festival (Czech Republic), the Solid Light Festival (Rome), the i Light Singapore Festival, Sonar, Nike, WOW Concept Store, Lush, Desigual, Volta and Cupra. Multimedia engineer and VJ, Jordi Pont was previously co-founder of the #Lectrovision collective, member of the #Telenoika collective, resident at The #Loft venue and throughout his life he has participated in a large number of #lafuradelsbaus shows together with Franc Aleu.
