Carmen Baselga and Héctor Serrano

Printing the World in 3D

The BLABLANIGHTS Cycle continued on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, with a masterclass by Carmen Baselga and Héctor Serrano. During this session, they explained two major exhibition projects they have been involved in over the past few years, focused on the world of 3D printing. The first project was with the Fundación Telefónica, followed by a second project with the Fundación La Caixa. These exhibitions have traveled to several countries.

Héctor Serrano y Carmen Baselga

Two different exhibition strategies to explore the impact of 3D printing technology on our society, in disciplines as varied as medicine, fashion, gastronomy, and architecture. Two broad perspectives on a digital phenomenon that many consider the next industrial revolution.

Héctor Serrano and Carmen Baselga establish basic premises that are repeated in both cases: the exhibition should be informative and cultural, provoke reflection, and provide entertainment, making it accessible to all audiences.
