CONCERT Grupo Instrumental de Valencia
LABA VALENCIA became a meeting point for contemporary music and visual creation with the concert of the Grup Instrumental de València, conducted by Joan Cerveró. The invited audience, together with LABA Valencia students and faculty, gathered to enjoy a shared artistic experience that filled the space with a very special atmosphere.
Throughout the concert, the pieces performed live by the group interacted with the visuals created by the LABA team and students, generating an immersive experience where sound and image complemented each other. It was an evening in which everyone enjoyed the intensity of contemporary music and the expressive power of the projected visuals.
The Grup Instrumental de València, an undisputed reference in contemporary music in Spain, was founded in 1991 and has been led by Joan Cerveró since 1994. With over three decades of experience, the group has performed key works from the contemporary repertoire and regularly participates in national and international festivals.
This year, LABA Valencia collaborated with its director on a concert featuring five pieces, with visual projects specially developed for the occasion.
