As part of the activities of the MICME. International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows at LABA VALENCIA, Ilgin Icozu, lecturer of the master’s modules Sound Design and Final Major Project 1, will offer the workshop:

Live Coding with Strudel.

Participants will be introduced to algorave culture and will learn the fundamentals of live coding with Strudel, a port of TidalCycles, an open-source language for pattern-based music. Throughout the session, attendees will learn the basic syntax, develop simple looping techniques, and apply algorithmic approaches to build multi-channel compositions. No prior knowledge of music or programming is required.
You will need your laptop and headphones for the workshop.
