Throughout his time at LABA Valencia, Sergio Pons Alba demonstrated a strong drive to tell stories through imagery, understanding photography and video not only as technical disciplines but as tools capable of conveying narrative, emotion, and meaning. From the beginning of the BAH in Photography and Video from LABA Valencia. , his journey was marked by curiosity, experimentation, and a constant pursuit of his own voice within contemporary audiovisual language.
During his years of study, he explored visual storytelling from multiple perspectives: creating atmospheres, using light expressively, directing the viewer’s gaze, mastering rhythm in editing, and exploring the relationship between still and moving images. Each project presented a new challenge and an opportunity to deepen his creative identity, combining aesthetic sensitivity with a thoughtful perspective on the surrounding world.
