Daira Jiménez graduated in the BAH in Photography and Video from LABA Valencia, y She has proven to be a photographer and filmmaker with strong skills in Art Direction and Cinematography. Her work combines narrative, image, and technology with a very personal sensitivity. She has great organizational abilities, remarkable tenacity, and a sharp creative eye for set design. She moves confidently across different genres and contexts, and shows strong potential to succeed in demanding professional creative environments.

“Pieces of Us”, a photography book and short film by Daira Jiménez
Daira Jiménez es una fotógrafa y cineasta con una sólida formación en Dirección de Arte y Fotografía. Su trabajo combina un fuerte componente narrativo, junto con una estética personal muy elaborada y detallista, que en conjunto aporta mucho al diseño escenográfico tanto en la fotografía como en la cinematografía. Se mueve con soltura entre distintos géneros y contextos, y tiene un enorme potencial para destacar en entornos profesionales creativos exigentes.
Obtuvo un 100 sobre 100 en su Trabajo Final de Carrera con una propuesta muy difícil de conseguir, en la que narraba visualmente la vida de dos personas a través de bodegones fotográficos de su día a día, plasmados en un libro de fotografía y una pieza de vídeo.
LABA Valencia le ha concedido la beca anual para realizar este año el Master of Arts in Photography y así culminar una trayectoria académica de excelencia.
