Testimonial from a MICME graduate at LABA Valencia
“…During the MICME master’s, I learned how to shape an idea from the very beginning and bring it to life, exploring the different levels and perspectives involved in developing a project, mastering software, conceptualising ideas and thinking about technological development.
For my Final Major Project, I submitted my sound and light art installation Sonic Artifacts to the MICME Festival competition, using electromechanical components. I wanted to use technology not just as a tool, but as the protagonist—something to observe and listen to. The installation works in real time through TouchDesigner, and I developed my own generative system. Every time each component receives a message, it generates sound.”

Interactive installations at the MICME Festival
“Omada is another one of my light art installations developed during the master’s, together with Theon Adam and Fadlhi, which was presented at the MICME Festival. It moves through space and transforms it through light.
Now I can think about different projects and how to approach them. I think this is very important because I have more in my creative palette. I can create video art, light art or video mapping, or sound art. I can approach my work in many different ways. I can also anticipate what I need to do to prepare a project at every stage and bring it to life.”
