IMPROVISA – LIFE IN MOTION European project
From 2008 to 2015 IMPROVISA software, created by Cristina Casanova Seuma, Director of LABA Valencia, was exhibited in the artistic, educational, museum and patrimonial fields (Miró Foundation in Barcelona 2008/2015, La Pedrera Foundation 2010/2013, La Fura dels Baus…), to bring art and cultural heritage to all types of audiences and all ages: artists, students and teachers, families and different social groups.
This video explains how the original version of IMPROVISA software worked. The original IMPROVISA software allowed users to generate and record audiovisual compositions with sounds and visuals playing the keyboard of the computer as a piano.
IMPROVISA – LIFE IN MOTION European project will explore the potential of audio-visual improvisation driven by mobile technologies, through participatory and creative experiences.
During this european project we are developing a new version of IMPROVISA for mobile devices. LABA Valencia students will participate in the testing and creation of multimedia content and visual and sound compositions for this innovative app.
