European Project Kick-off meeting
The European project C4C (Care for creativity, arts and culture) is launched, an innovative initiative that counts with the outstanding coordination of the EDUventure Foundation and the collaboration of LABA Valencia as a strategic partner.
The kick-off meeting was held at LABA Valencia School of Art, Design & New Media, with the presence of Jos Hardeman y Simone Vos from EDUventure, Cristina Casanova, Andrea Contino, Mirjam Hillenius and Cosette Reyes from LABA Valencia, in which the starting points of this challenging project were developed.
Care for creativity, arts and culture (C4C) is an Erasmus+ project, which has as its main objective the creation of tools and the implementation of workshops that will offer effective strategies to identify and reduce the stress faced by professionals within the creative field. This multidisciplinary project addresses issues of social relevance, with a special emphasis on promoting empathy and support among colleagues in design, art and culture.
This collaboration between LABA Valencia and the EDUventure Foundation will be joined by the Designers’ Association of the Valencian Community, which will enhance the results of the project through the guidelines designed to provide support and backing to creatives in times of high pressure and stress during the development of their profession. The intention is to prevent these professionals from feeling undervalued, thus decreasing the likelihood of them abandoning their passions and roles within the creative sector.
The joint work between these entities represents a significant challenge and, at the same time, an invaluable opportunity. Through this project, issues of great social relevance will be addressed and discussed. The focus is on fostering empathy and mutual support between colleagues in design, art and culture.
This innovative project is funded by the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU programme, and its impact transcends the borders of Europe, aiming to provide solutions to improve the well-being of creative professionals in today’s diverse and challenging context.
