Miguel Sanchez, a graduate in Photography and Video, shares his experiences during his professional internship in photography at Singularu, the trendy jewellery brand with more than 250 direct employees and the mission to build the largest jewellery brand in the world. His story in the entrepreneurial world began at Demium, a startup incubator known for its copycat technique, i.e. replicating successful business models elsewhere.
Miguel is brilliant, tenacious, passionate and always discovering new perspectives in his photographic work, from the bird’s eye view landscapes, the plants that represent silver filigree on black backgrounds, his work in art direction…
His Final Major Project consisted of a journey and research in which he combined landscape and still life photography, and which resulted in the book “Pegadas”.
“’Pegadas’ is a visual journey that traces my steps from the green coasts of A Coruña to the vibrant urban landscapes of Valencia.
This photobook, born from the desire to capture my path and share it with the world, fuses two photographic styles that have deeply influenced my life: landscape photography, which I learned with my father in Galicia, and commercial photography, which I have perfected in recent years.
Thus, I have created a new concept that I call ‘landscape as still life’, where the majesty of nature and the precision of detail are intertwined in each image.
This book is a tribute to that journey, to that transformation. It is a reflection of my evolution as a photographer and as a person (…)”
