Workshop Creative lights Installations
Program
Session I
The expansion of the Canvas. A set of small on-site installations and the projection of lighting displays will form the backbone of explanations of technological evolution and the conquest of new canvases, new spaces and scales.
Workshop: On paper, we will develop rapid prototypes of lighting installations. This will be an individual practical workshop supervised by Radiante and each participant will have the opportunity to share their work with the group or the teachers.
Session II
Tools for digital light control. We will provide an introduction to the technique of Videomapping which allows us to adapt the video projection to the shape of specific surfaces.
Workshop: For this session the teachers will create several installations with digital light, the participants, in groups, will proceed to modify, hack and even redesign the installations.
On paper, we will develop rapid prototypes of installations that incorporate digital light. This will be an individual practical session supervised by the teachers and each participant will have the opportunity to share their work with the group or teachers.
Session III
Laser, LED, Neon… Unconventional light sources. We will experiment with unconventional light sources such as lasers, LEDs, neon, robotic lights, etc.
6. Design with matrices and pixelmapping. We will provide an introduction to this technique
which allows us to control any luminaire as if it were pixels on a screen.
Workshop: For this session, several pieces of light art will be created with technologies such as laser, LED, etc. The participants, in groups, will proceed to modify, hack and even redesign the facilities.
On paper, we will develop rapid prototypes of light art installations. Each participant will be free to share their work with the group or teachers.
Session IV
The dissolution of borders. We will provide an overview of everything seen and experienced in the workshop. We will explore the routes that participants can choose to acquire more knowledge in this area.
