“Over these three years, my development has been built through the exploration of all areas of photography: commercial and product, fashion, architecture, landscape, portrait, nude, reportage, and artificial intelligence. LABA Valencia gave us the opportunity to experiment with everything, without limitations.
I also discovered studio work, a technical yet highly stimulating environment, where I learned to control light, work with shadows, reflectors and backgrounds, as well as to direct models, an experience that I found especially enriching.”

Imene is graduate in BAH in Photography and Video from LABA Valencia. In her work as a photographer and art director, she has been able to develop projects with a global vision, paying attention to visual coherence and exploring different creative possibilities.
Throughout her training at LABA Valencia, she has consolidated her visual language and gained confidence in her creative decisions, showing remarkable professional growth.
“Through collaborative projects, I learned to listen, collaborate, and adapt, and above all, to learn from others. As a team, we experimented with different lighting techniques, tried things out, made mistakes, and tried again. These processes helped me understand the value of visual dialogue and collective intelligence.”

In this final degree project, Imene focuses on the creation of a photographic editorial project that explores the cultural identity of Tunisia, her country of origin, from a contemporary and personal perspective.
Through a series of photographs and reports taken in different cities across the country, Imene builds a visual journey that combines tradition and modernity.
The project takes the form of a magazine in which art direction, styling, and visual storytelling work together to offer an intimate yet universal vision of her homeland. It is a work that reflects a process of research, experimentation, and creative development, consolidating a personal voice within the field of editorial photography and art direction.
One of Imene’s most important learnings at LABA Valencia has been the opportunity to carry out a complete editorial project independently, understanding all the stages of the creative and technical process. The result is a work that reflects the growth and consolidation achieved over these three years of education at LABA Valencia.
