INSTALLATION «Convergencias» Authors: Diana Carmenate, Gustavo Pavez and Bruno Tripodi
Final project by the students of the International Master’s Degree in Multimedia Creation for the Live Shows

The #MICME. Interactive Art Festival is an exhibition of the final projects of the Master’s students, tutored by the teaching staff. The festival highlights the role of multimedia and technologies as the core of the artistic experience: live audiovisuals, performances and interactive improvisations in real time.
«The composition of LED tubes and lasers in the work represents the relationship between two forms of light expression. The LED tubes provide a soft and diffused light, creating an enveloping and changing atmosphere; the laser provides a focused and defined light, creating precise lines and shapes in space. These elements become two visual languages searching for a point of union, interacting to create dynamic and complex patterns of light. A dialogue between light and space, the tangible and the intangible. A central totem, sculpture, light and sound, which in turn invites to be transformed by the interventions of the users, receiving through microphony the voices of third parties, merging them and shaping the results: the beauty and complexity of light in intimate interaction with sound and with the public..»
