The #MICME. Interactive Art Festival is an exhibition of the final projects of the Master’s students, tutored by the teaching staff. The festival highlights the role of multimedia and technologies as the core of the artistic experience: live audiovisuals, performances and interactive improvisations in real time.

«Ecos silvestres is an installation that fuses nature with digital art by creating holograms, playing with the reflection of light on methacrylate surfaces from micro worlds of the fungi kingdom. In this way, the installation provides the viewer with a more intimate experience of these small ecosystems.
The installation has 6 holograms adapted for iPad screens: the structures were made to measure with laser cut 10mm mdf and the 1mm methacrylate pyramid where the hologram is reflected, each one with a different setting of fungi species, which were arranged in a physical space that we recreated by means of branches, stones and plants.
The visuals were modelled and rendered in blender, jpg format, exporting the view from 4 angles (cameras) to later make the general composition and adjustments in Touchdesigner language and, thus, more easily manipulate the location of each element, lighting and extra effects generated in aftereffects, as in the case of the butterflies.
The sound, created by Ilgın İçözü, was added in Touchdesigner by modifying the displacement of the mushrooms, so that each one had a soft and delicate movement.»

Elizabeth Mondragón

Student of the 2nd promotion of the MICME. International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows at LABA Valencia, she graduated in July 2024.

Mexican digital artist working on the creation of synergies between performance art and technology. She is currently in Spain, studying the Master in Multimedia Creation for the

Multimedia for Performance at LABA Valencia, specialising in interactive installations through the use of light and visuals in different formats.

She has worked together with national and international artists in stage productions as well as in laser experimentation laboratories for the creation of shows and events for brands such as Topochico and Mimec MTY.

Bruno Tripodi

Student of the 2nd promotion of the MICME. International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows at LABA Valencia, he graduated in July 2024.

Born in Chile, currently living in Valencia. New media, audiovisual, experimental and VJ artist. Selected for the exhibition ‘Miradas y recorridos Íntimos’, 10 Sentidos Festival and LABA VALENCIA, in Las Naves, May 2024. Winner of the open call for DIGITAL ART organised by SMTH to exhibit in more than 30 LED screens in 5 cities in Spain. Part of Niio’s Curatorial Art programme.

Co-founder of Sonda Tecnopoetica, a project that explores sound synthesis and digital art. He has worked for the audiovisual production company COMA, where he carried out video clip projects for emerging artists, commercial videos, promotional spots and institutional documentaries for various brands.
