Throughout the master, you will gain the knowledge needed to design and build the key elements of live performance: video scene and video mapping, sensors, interactivity, sound art and light art. The third edition of MICME, the Interactive Art Festival arrives with installations and events focused on interactive art: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art, created by students as their Final Major Projects of the master’s program. The festival highlights the role of multimedia, design, craft-making and technology as the core of the artistic experience, where poetics, innovation and experimentation converge.

INSTALLATIONS AND PERFORMANCES
Childhood experiences and somatic memories. A playful exploration of the connection between the physical and the digital world through this character-based interactive installation, where the audience animates and deforms a group of interconnected characters through real-time physical interactions.
Homage to Le Parc. A kinetic sculpture made of semi-opaque methacrylate, light and vertical sheets of pure metal. Motors generate slow waves, reflections and shadows.
An installation that immerses the viewer in the universe of obsessive thinking and mental rumination.
What are we, if not a mosaic of everyone we have ever encountered?
Through sensors, the system captures each visitor’s silhouette and integrates it into an ever-evolving projection.
A large sculpture traversed by light: penumbra envelops the form while its transparency invites the gaze into the darkness of the hour before dawn.
An installation of sound and light compositions. The audience participates by interacting with four pedestals through which they generate sounds.
Five circular frames, each of human scale, become surfaces for shifting projected color cast from both ends.
A multiplicity of screens merges archival footage, still images, real-time feeds from across the world, and AI-generated visuals.
A kinetic installation that examines how controlled movement can shape concentrated light in a space.
