We introduce the 23rd session of the BLABLANIGHTS Cycle of masterclass, with a very special guest: Katy Hundertmark, editorial director and curator of the award-winning FOAM Magazine, international photography magazine that is published twice a year. The magazine serves as a platform for all types of photography: from documentary to fashion, contemporary and historical.
Katy Hundertmark has played a fundamental role in the editorial direction of FOAM magazine, bringing a fresh and committed vision to the exploration of relevant themes in contemporary photography. She is a Scottish-German artist and editor who has consolidated her career in Amsterdam as an influential figure in the world of contemporary photography. She is currently editor-in-chief and curator of FOAM Magazine.

School of Art, Design & New Media
is the first international campus of the prestigious Italian university of Art and Design LABA – Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, with 24 years of history and 2,500 students enrolled each year. It opened its doors in Spain in the 2021/2022 academic year, with the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Digital Media HND in Graphic and Digital Design and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Photography HND in Photography and Video, two of the areas with the greatest job prospects in the field of the creative industries, together with the International Master’s in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows, which whose 3rd edition will culminate in June with the 2nd edition of MICME. Interactive Art Festival, open to the public, to be held at LABA Valencia + BOMBAS GENS with installations and events around interactive art: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art.
In February 2025 we began the 2nd edition of the MA of Arts in Photography, which allows students to explore contemporary practices and the creative possibilities of photography, with special attention to the fields of fashion and publishing. And, at the end of September, we will launch the master’s degree in LIVING ARTS Innovation in Cultural Management, consisting of 4 months online + 1 month in Valencia preparing the Master’s Thesis and the internship + 2 months working in the most prestigious festivals and institutions in Europe.
LABA Valencia is a living space, open to the city and to new trends, where you can develop your creativity and talent. LABA Valencia hosts numerous exhibitions and events and collaborates with national and international festivals and projects: the current exhibition Zona Valencia, with a selecction of photografs by students of the Master’s Degree in Photography, the exhibition Miradas y recorridos íntimos, May 2024 at the Las Naves space, as part of the 10 Sentidos Festival; Designers of the Universe, Augmented Worlds, Photo LABA Firenze, SMTH ART 2003, 2024 and 2025, and the BlablaNights series on design, technology and new media. Laba Valencia collaborates with professionals, artists, museums and galleries such as the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, the Museum of the Image in Portugal, the National Museum of History in Slovenia, the Labyrint Gallery in Poland and many others.

you will develop your creativity as a professional in web design, cross-platform apps, multimedia creation, digital art, advertising, and transmedia storytelling.

MICME. International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows
Throughout the master’s degree, students receive the necessary knowledge related to multimedia creation for live shows, installations and immersive proposals, with a solid training in the most important professional software: Madmapper for videomapping and video-scene, Touchdesigner language for light art, interaction and visual and sound creation, Ableton for sound editing and live composition, among others.
A series of core subjects converge in the final practice: the MICME. Interactive Art Festival, whose 1st edition was held in LABA VALENCIA on 15 and 16 June 2024, with installations and events around interactive art: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art.
LIVING ARTS. Innovation in cultural management
A 4-month online master’s + 1 month in Valencia preparing the Master’s Final Project and the internship + 2 months working in the most prestigious festivals and institutions in Europe.

The master’s degree covers a wide range of professional profiles, ranging from directing, organising, financing, managing, coordinating and participating in cultural projects. Students will acquire extensive knowledge about the different disciplines that make up the phenomenon of culture and its fields of action, as well as new ways of approaching the public and creating audiences, through participatory dynamics and new formats. The application of creative processes, the use of innovative methodologies and technological tools are fundamental axes in the new organisational models of the cultural industries.

The Master of Arts in Photography at LABA Valencia aims to explore contemporary practices and the creative possibilities of photography, with a particular focus on fashion and editorial. The Master allows students to learn about trends in fashion, culture, editorial, photojournalism and art by working in collaboration with globally prestigious publishers and agencies: SCHÖN! Magazine, the European reference magazine in fashion and trends; prestigious photographers, art directors and curators, along with Magnum Photos, the most important photojournalism agency in the world.
The master’s degree is aimed at students and professionals interested in exploring the contemporary practices and creative possibilities of photography; lifestyle publishing in fashion and trends, art direction and visual strategy.
