Interview with Toni Moratalla, professor at LABA Valencia
Meet the #LABAteam! Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Moratalla, professor of Graphic Design Practices & Communication in Art & Design.
“I am a creative director and art director at Stv Comunicación y Estudio numérico. I have been working in advertising communication for more than 20 years, although my education is in Fine Arts.
I consider this artistic base fundamental for my work. Moving in the world of ideas, having a sharp vision and transmitting emotions helps me solve a lot of situations.
I have worked for a long time with all kinds of clients, mainly with global multinationals such as Adeo or Hutchison Whampoa, in sectors as diverse as fashion, food, sports, health, construction …
All clients have one point in common; to become reference marks, lovemarks. All brands need an audience that loves them and they know that creativity is essential to achieve their goals.
My job consists of directing a vision, a project that meets all communication objectives, that is creatively powerful and that also influences many people.
Achieving that the first impact of a brand brings you joy, comfort or security takes a lot of work behind it.
Meet the #LABAteam! 2nd part of the interview with Toni Moratalla @tonimoratalla, professor of “Graphic Design Practices” and “Communication in Art & Design”
We are in a phase of emotional/experiential communication where the individual is more important than ever. In the past, we used to target thousands of individuals with one hit; now, we are targeting one at a time with thousands of hits. Wanting to say something and be heard requires a lot of effort.
Thanks to the subjects of Graphic Design Practices and Communication in Art & Design, we will have the opportunity to work with global clients, very real, who will demand their communication needs from day one: creativity, design, briefings, timings, strategies… We will respond to each one of them throughout the course.
The opportunity our students will have to face such a challenge is fantastic. It will be a unique and unrepeatable experience.”
